S.T.E.E.R – The Enterprise Academy is an exciting not-for-profit social enterprise, established in 2013 with the aim to enrich the community and people’s lives.
It is based in Tondu at the edge of the Llynfi Valley in Bridgend County, in our Resource and Wellbeing Centre at Tondu House Farm, surrounded by 43 acres of lush meadows and historic woodlands. It really is a totally engaging, but tranquil setting, available for all ages and abilities to use.
STEER offers many activities and projects where children, young people and adults from all backgrounds (often the most disadvantaged and vulnerable) engage, interact and thrive.
Our disability friendly bunkhouse with wonderful views, can accommodate up to 12 guests in 4 bedrooms with 12 beds, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with a communal sitting area.

Our 43 acre Resource and Wellbeing Centre can be found at Tondu House Farm, Tondu, Bridgend, CF32 9HF.
The nearest junction of the M4 is 36 where you need to head north towards Aberkenfig and Maesteg. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the B4281 and drive for about a mile, then take a right turn onto Fountain Road and drive for about 250 metres, take a right turn at the junction onto New Road. After about 250 metres, you will see a sign and private road for STEER on the left hand side.
